About

Asalamalekum wa rahmatullah wa barakato (May the peace and blessings of Allah be with you).

IT Knick Knacks was a dream until I started developing this website and continuing a project/milestone that I wanted to start so long ago.

The passion behind IT Knick Knacks began five years ago—through planning, setbacks, and countless challenges. At the time, I didn’t always have the resources or the know-how to make things happen, but the drive to learn and share technical knowledge kept pushing me forward. Life felt incomplete without creativity, and the desire to connect through technology eventually became impossible to ignore.

Cute electronic-themed characters with happy faces, including a chip, screwdriver, disc, and hard drive.

My Bio:

Born in 1983 and running on a mix of curiosity, caffeine, and pure enthusiasm, I’m a 41-year-old technical engineer with over a decade of hands-on experience building high-performance computers and trying to learn as much as possible about the world of Information Security. I’ve spent 20+ years refining the art of system design, always looking for that extra MHz of performance—and yes, I’ve proudly fried a few CPUs in the name of progress (occupational hazard of an overclocker).

Over the years, I’ve competed in domestic overclocking competitions across the U.S., honing my understanding of hardware, performance tuning, and thermal dynamics—basically, how to make machines go super-fast without making them crash. I have been an I.T. Engineer for 10+ years which keeps me grounded in the worlds of computers, hardware and security as and in network infrastructure, but my weekends are all about passion projects and play—because technology is meant to be lived, not just managed.

Back in the day (about 15 years ago), I was a full-fledged weekend warrior in the gaming world, dominating digital battlefields in Call of Duty, Battlefield, and Black Ops. I’m also a lifelong fan of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege series—because strategy, teamwork, and explosions never go out of style.

Outside the tech trenches, I’m a movie buff, technical book junkie, and a lifelong learner who believes in balancing work with laughter. I’m currently channeling my engineering mindset into building an epic treehouse for my kids—a project equal parts architecture, electronics, and “Dad, be careful with that saw!”

Fast forward to December 25, 2025—with the help and blessing of Allah (God), this dream finally came to life. We launched this channel to share what we know, create meaningful content, and inspire others to embrace their own curiosity.

Insha’Allah, we’ll continue building this journey together. If you’d like to learn more about me and my story, feel free to visit the Biography page.
Would you like me to make it sound more formal for an “About Page” or more conversational for your YouTube description?
